Detail

This applies the green gradient effects to various titles and headings, resulting in a pastel and sophisticated design. The layout supports Excel themes, so you can change the colors easily.

This template has two columns: "Description" and "Line Total". The two columns are manually editable. A "Taxable" checkbox is also provided for each item, which allows you to control separately whether each item is taxable. If all your items are taxable (or not taxable), you may not need the "Taxable" options. If this is your situation, you can easily remove the "Taxable" options and then modify the tax formula to ignore this option.

To remove the "Taxable" options, follow the steps below:

  1. Backup your template.
  2. Click the "Design Mode" button on the ribbon tab.
  3. Click a "Taxable" checkbox to select it.
  4. Hit the DEL key on your keyboard to delete the selected checkbox control.
  5. Repeat the above steps to delete other "Taxable" controls.
  6. Exit design mode and save the template.

If you want to modify the tax formula to ignore the "Taxable" options, in design mode, click to select the tax cell (which is named "oknTax1"). The Excel formula bar shows the current tax formula, like this:

=ROUND( IF ( oknTaxType=0, 0 , oknTax1Rate * ( oknLineTotalTaxable + IF( oknTaxTotalIncludingShippingCost = 0 , 0 , oknShippingCost ) ) ) , 2 )

To have it ignore the taxable options, simply replace "oknLineTotalTaxable" with "oknSubtotal", so that the formula looks like this:

=ROUND( IF ( oknTaxType=0, 0 , oknTax1Rate * ( oknSubtotal + IF( oknTaxTotalIncludingShippingCost = 0 , 0 , oknShippingCost ) ) ) , 2 )
