Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service), or Singapore GST Billing Format (Service), has a similar layout as the sales invoice template at Singapore GST Invoice Template (Sales), but has the shipping address moved out of the printable area.

If you are a service provider or consultant that don't use the shipping address fields, this template is for you. IRAS (Inland Revenue Authority Of Singapore) does not require a vendor to detail shipping address on an invoice, but it is helpful if you do shipping products, see Singapore GST Invoice Template (Sales), which is also named Singapore GST Billing Format (Sales) for a sales version. As IRAS requires, this invoice template has one tax set by default, GST, at the rate of 7%. Goods and Services Tax or GST is a broad-based consumption tax levied on the import of goods (collected by Singapore Customs), as well as nearly all supplies of goods and services in Singapore. In other countries, GST is known as the Value-Added Tax or VAT. GST exemptions apply to the provision of most financial services, the sale and lease of residential properties, and the importation and local supply of investment precious metals. Goods that are exported and international services are zero-rated. If you have Uniform Invoice Software installed, you can easily set the "Taxable" property for each product. The taxable flag on the invoicing form is implemented as checkboxes, which will be shown on your PDF invoices and printed paper invoices too.

As a general business rule, it is of critical importance that the customer receives valid supporting documentation, meeting all legal and tax requirements. This will usually be an invoice drawn in accordance with the supplier's country regulations.

This service invoicing template is named with "Singapore" but it should be suitable for many other countries and regions too, as long as they have similar taxing and invoicing requires, such as Hong Kong and Malaysia.

As stated above, c6022 Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service), or Singapore GST Billing Format (Service), was created based on c6021 Singapore GST Invoice Template (Sales) or Singapore GST Billing Format (Sales), by moving out the shipping cells out of the printable area of the Excel sheet.

The printable area, or print area, is the area with white background on the center of the Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service) spreadsheet. By default Microsoft Excel prints the entire worksheet when you issue the print command, but if the worksheet has a print area defined, such as what we do for Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service), only the print area will print. You can add cells to expand the print area as needed, and you can clear the print area to print the entire worksheet again. If you need to recreate the print area definition, here are what to do: On the "Invoice" worksheet of the Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service), select the cells that you want to define as the print area; On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Print Area, and then click Set Print Area.

Moving a cell or a group of cells is easy in Excel. First, you click to select the cell or drag your mouse to select all the cells you want to move. And then, drag the border of the selected area to move it to the new location where you want to place the cell or cells. The moving content will overwrite the content in the target location, so make sure the target range is empty (not used) in Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service) before doing the movement. And, if the target location contains merged cells, sometimes the movement fails. So it is also helpful to make sure the target location does not contain merged cell. If the target location Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service) is overlapping the original range and the original range contains merged cells, the movement could also fail because you cannot change part of merged cell - if this happens, you need to first move the cells to a temporal location in Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service) that are empty (i.e. not used), unmerge cells, and then move the cells from the temporal location to the desired location. If you need to unmerge a cell, first select it and then click the "Merge and Center" command on the Format toolbar in Excel 2003; or click the "Merge and Center" command on the Home ribbon tab in Excel 2007, 2010 and Excel 2013.

While the free version of Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service) is simple, the result created by using this template is as beautiful and professional as many commercial invoicing software program, or even better. It is an ideal tool for small businesses and freelances who offer services and don't need a shipping section on their invoicing form. It is a good service bill creator, but if you need more features, like management of customers, products / service items, invoices and payments, just install Uniform Invoice Software to make all the buttons on Singapore GST Invoice Template (Service) work for you.

Like other form designs here on, Singapore GST Billing Format (Service) is free (offered to you at a price of 0.00USD). It works on Windows XP and all newer versions of Windows, and Excel 2007, 2010, 2013 or 2016.
