Summary

Microsoft Access is a member of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, included in the Professional and higher editions or sold separately (Wikipedia.org). On Windows desktop the database file is stored in ".mdb" or ".accdb" format. However with Office 365, the Access data is stored in a SQL database. Uniform Invoice Software, by default uses local (desktop) Access database. Each invoice template published here on InvoicingTemplate.com comes with an Access database with the template# as the database file name.

Uniform Invoice Software itself uses Excel spreadsheet templates as the front-end. Access database is only used as a data storage. We don't lock the database so if you are a power user who want to customize the invoicing application deeply, you are free to do so on the database level too. For example, you can use Access queries, forms, reports, macros and modules.

  • Optionally, display an input message when the cell is clicked.
  • Specify how you want Excel to respond when invalid data is entered.

You can place the "Product Type" column either inside the printable area, which is printed when you issue the Print command in Excel or click the Print command on the "Invoice" worksheet form; or place the Product Type column outside the printable area, which will be included when you print or extract an invoice or receipt.
