How to Use

Assuming you have downloaded and installed Uniform Invoice Software:

  1. Download Invoice Template with 4 Columns. Double-click the downloaded file to extract all files.
  2. Open the template "invoice-template-4-columns.xlsx" or "invoice-template-4-columns-uis.xlsx" with Microsoft Excel.
  3. Click "Design Mode" on the "Invoice" Excel ribbon tab to put it into design mode.
  4. Enter your business information and replace the default logo image to make it your own. (How?)
  5. Click "Design Mode" again to exit design mode.
  6. Create invoice (tutorial movie)!

Similar to the general sales invoice template shipped with Uniform Invoice Software, but has the product ID column moved out of the printable area.

This invoice template is originally published on our oldest web site, office-kit.com, as a sample in the member area. We published it here on InvoicingTemplate.com for you to choose. The layout of this invoice template is similar to the default sales invoice template shipped with Uniform Invoice Software (originally named Excel Invoice Manager). The most noticeable difference is that with this template we moved out the "Product#" column, leaving more space for the product description column.

The template has one tax set on the bottom of the invoice form. If you have Uniform Invoice Software installed, you can easily change it to two-tax or non-tax by clicking the Settings button on the Invoice worksheet, and then go to the Taxes tab.

The white area on the center of the invoice form is the printable area - this area is printed when you issue the print command in Excel, and this is also the area that will be extracted when you execute the "extract" command in Uniform Invoice Software. In this "Invoice Template with 4 Columns" design, the product ID column was moved out of the printable area and placed on the most left column. Note that it is not recommended to delete the cell or cell names of the Product ID column, because Uniform Invoice Software uses the Product ID (or Service #) to identify products and services.
