This is a variant of the invoice template with 4 columns. The template is set with no tax and shipping address. Visit Sample Invoice Template to download a sample that accepts long product description.
If you have Invoice Manager for Excel installed, setting tax types is as easy as clicking several buttons. For example, if you find a template here on InvoicingTemplate.com interesting but don't need tax fields, you can set it to non-tax by firstly clicking the Settings button on the Invoice worksheet, and then go to the Taxes tab of the Settings dialog box. The Taxes tab offers 3 options, non-tax, one-tax and two-tax. Tax names and rates can also be set on the "Taxes" page of the Settings window.
This template has no shipping fields so it is more likely to be used as a service invoice template. But in case you need the shipping fields, you can move back the fields back to the printable area. The printable area on a form is the white area on the center of the form, which is defined by Excel name Print_Area. A print area is one or more ranges of cells that you designate to print when you don't want to print the entire worksheet. When you print a worksheet after defining a print area, only the print area is printed. You can add cells to expand the print area as needed, and you can clear the print area to print the entire worksheet. Setting print area is easy in Excel. First, on the worksheet, select the cells that you want to define as the print area. You can create multiple print areas by holding down CTRL and clicking the areas that you want to print; on the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Print Area, and then click Set Print Area. Note that the print area that you set is saved when you save the workbook.
