How to Use

Assuming you have downloaded and installed Uniform Invoice Software:

  1. Download Template with Summary on Top. Double-click the downloaded file to extract all files.
  2. Open the template "template-summary-on-top.xlsx" or "template-summary-on-top-uis.xlsx" with Microsoft Excel.
  3. Click "Design Mode" on the "Invoice" Excel ribbon tab to put it into design mode.
  4. Enter your business information and replace the default logo image to make it your own. (How?)
  5. Click "Design Mode" again to exit design mode.
  6. Create invoice (tutorial movie)!

This is a variant of 4 column invoice template without tax. It differs from the original by moving the summary section to the top to near the "Bill To" section.

  • Adjusted / optimized the line heights of top rows of the invoice form to make them equals to those line heights on the detail section.
  • Enabled the "Center on page / vertically" option for the printable form. This was done by using the "Page Setup" dialog box.
