Detail

This invoice template designed for musician includes a stave background image. Besides the Excel spreadsheet template, a PDF billing format template for musician is also included. This sample is formatted with Australian currency but you can easily change it with Excel formatting tools.

As a service invoice template, this design sample does not include the "Shipping Address" section. It is a basic template that includes only two columns, "description" and "amount".

Unlike the other two-column templates here on InvoicingTemplate.com, the "amount" field is calculated with Excel formulas, so it is not manually editable on creating invoices.

The formula assigned to the "Amount" field is like this:

=IF(oknProductName_1="","",IF(oknLineTotal_1=0,"FREE",oknLineTotal_1))

With this formula, if you enter a non-zero value into the "Amount saved to DB" column outside the printable area, the "amount" field inside the printable area shows the value normally; if the entered value is zero, then the corresponding cell inside the printable section shows the text "FREE". With this mechanism, a musician or artist is able to clearly list gift with no charges on invoices, and the client who is invoiced is able to know that he received something for free.

The "Advertisement" section is an auxiliary section, which is not directly related to your bills or invoices, but allows you to put a brief description about your business and service, or you can also put your payment term, service term here. Note that this is a static text section - you can modify it once the template is switched to design mode, but when you are creating invoices, this section is protected and thus couldn't be modified. This also means that the section is not defined as a field in the database, and thus cannot be changed from invoice to invoice.

Another feature of this template is that the payment slip attached to the bottom of the invoicing form. The main part of the form has only 6 lines, leaving space for the added payment slip that is beginning from the dashed line. When you are filling an invoice, the customer name, customer number, invoice number, due date and total amount fields in the payment slip section are automatically retrieved from the main invoice form, so that you don't have to fill the same data again.

Like other form designs here on InvoicingTemplate.com, Musician Billing Format is free (offered to you at a price of 0.00USD). It works on Windows XP and all newer versions of Windows, and Excel 2007, 2010, 2013 or 2016.
