MAC

Microsoft Office for Mac includes all the major applications available in its Windows version, including Word and Excel. While for now Uniform Invoice Software is a Windows desktop invoicing software program based on Excel, our free blank invoicing templates and billing forms use pure-Excel features, which enables you to adapt our invoice formats on your Mac system.

You can download any template here on InvoicingTemplate.com for free. Most of our templates are Excel ".xlsx" format packaged in a self-extracting Windows ".exe" file. If you choose to use our free Excel invoice templates on Mac, be sure to read the document "create / customize invoice template", which describes the basic design rules to follow when you want to customize our templates. Also refer to Microsoft Excel documents to get more details. Also be noted, due to the large number of users who download and use our templates, we're not able to provide timely technical support to users of our free templates. Our templates and forms are not tested on Mac, so use them at your own risk.

How to make invoice on mac using UIS

This is a frequently asked question - how to I run Uniform Invoice Software on Mac?

The answer is NO.

Uniform Invoice Software (or Excel Invoice Manager prior to August 2013) is a COM add-in program runs inside Microsoft Excel application process on Windows. For now it does not run on Mac.

However our templates are pure Excel workbook files that work on Mac. Visit Mac Invoice Templates for more information. Without UIS, a simple template itself does not offer much features, but it is able to format your invoice data in the right way - i.e. it does enable you to make invoice on Mac easily.

If you need a more complete system for invoicing on Mac, there are many programs or online invoicing systems you can try.

For example, you can use Apple Pages to format your document easily, as detailed on the tutorials How do I Make a Template in Apple's "Pages" or Creating an invoice with Apple's Pages.   4. Click the "Save" button on the toolbar.
  5. Switch your invoice template into design mode by clicking the "Design Mode" button on the "Invoice" worksheet.
  6. Click to select the Excel cell where you want to show the English words for the invoiced total. In this sample, we choose $K$45 on the "Invocie" worksheet.
  7. Click to activate the formula, enter the formula to convert invoiced total into English words:
    =SpellNumber(oknBalanceDue)

    If your invoice format does not use / show the balance and you want to show the "Total", use this formula:

    =SpellNumber(oknTotal)

    For example, if the amount to convert is "756.00", the result will be "Seven Hundred Fifty Six Dollars and No Cents".

  8. Exit design mode by clicking the "Design Mode" button again on the "Invoiced" worksheet.
  9. Save the template by clicking the "Save" tab on Excel quick access toolbar.

One thing that may not obvious from the screenshots below is that Engineering Invoice Template supports change order.
