  1. Backup your template. To do this, copy the Excel workbook file in Windows Explorer.
  2. Open the template.
  3. Go to the "Invoice" ribbon tab, push down the "Design Mode" button. If you cannot find the ribbon tab, install Invoice Manager for Excel (namely Uniform Invoice Software).
  4. Push your mouse down on the row 39 heading, drag to row 43 and release the mouse key. This selects all the rows from 39 to 43.
  5. Right-click one of the selected row heading, choose "Hide" from the shortcut menu.
  6. Once you are satisfied with result, exit "Design Mode" by clicking the same button again
  7. Save the template by clicking the "Save" button on Excel quick access toolbar.

The "Extract/Email" command is located on the task pane when the "Invoice" worksheet is active. It works in two ways depending on the options you set on the "Extract/Email" tab of the Settings window. Firstly, it could extract the current invoicing form - this means that, a separate Excel workbook file will be created, and it contains only the current invoice. Secondly, it could also generate electronic invoice in Adobe PDF, Excel spreadsheet or image (PNG) format, and then send the invoice to the customer - when sending the invoice, Invoice Manager for Excel (namely Uniform Invoice Software) looks at the email field of the invoice itself, if not found then look at the customer record. The invoicing program is also able to send a BCC copy to the email address you specified on the Settings window. If any error occurred in the process of sending email, it records the error message with the invoice itself, which could be found when you open an invoice on the "Invoice Edit" window - by double clicking an invoice on the "Invoices" window, or by clicking the "View Detail" command on the task pane. On the other hand, if no error occurred in the process of sending email, the last balance due and sent date is recorded.
