The usual "Bill To" section is now renamed to "Agency". The labels in this section include "Account Number", "Name", "Department", "Contact or Operator", "Vehicle Number" - the later 3 fields are custom fields that are not defined in the default Access database file shipped with Invoice Manager for Excel.

This drywall invoice example is a slightly modified version of c3009 Contractor Billing Format, and a sample in our contractor invoice templates.

Contractor Billing Format differs from other templates here in that it itemizes "service" and "expense" in two separate sections on the invoice detail section. Each section has a different tax (including tax name and tax rate) applied.

It was created by moving back the "Ship To section" to the printable form and deleting the "Type" column. To change the default tax name and rate using Invoice Manager for Excel, simply click the "Settings" button on Excel worksheet, and then go to the "Taxes" tab. Be sure to save the workbook file by clicking Excel menu "File" and then "Save", so that your changes will be kept.

This customized invoicing format is based on c4020 Invoice Template with Long Product Description, which describes how to reduce the number of lines on the detail section, so that each line can hold longer description text. In order to create this customized sample from the original version c7006, we at InvoicingTemplate.com first unprotect the Invoice worksheet, moved out the GST and PST columns from the printable invoicing form, move the Quantity column several columns right, and then expand the Description column to occupy the space left by moving out the GST and PST columns.

The "Invoice" ribbon is created by Invoice Manager for Excel (UIS) - i.e. you have to install UIS in order to have Excel show the ribbon tab.
